The vendor is required to provide independent attorney providing legal services and expertise to the assistant on an as-needed basis. - Audit Division mission is to provide insightful, objective, independent audits and evaluations of State agency information and operations that assist the Legislature in making public policy decisions and State management in improving government performance, thereby promoting accountability to state citizens.
- Budget Division provides technical assistance in the areas of finance, accounting, and budgeting to members of the Legislature and its committees; assists in preparing the operating and capital budgets; reviews all programs or activities of State government which are required by statute to determine discretionary and non-discretionary State spending; and writes fiscal notes for proposed laws as needed and fiscal impact statements for all proposed rules.
