The vendor is required to provide that on call airport security consultant services across two main functional needs; the first is for the implementation of a the commission reserves the right to award multiple selected offerors.
- These services shall include, but not be limited to:
• Commission security/special systems: airport security systems are a combination of many systems and subsystems. the commission’s system includes but is not limited to: security access and surveillance systems; terminal announcement control systems.
o Security access and surveillance systems: the successful applicant(s) shall be responsible for the following systems that comprise the airport’s security access and surveillance systems:
- The airport’s access control system (“acs”);
- The airport’s identity management system (“idms”);
- The airport’s security surveillance closed-circuit television (“cctv”) system;
- The airport’s intrusion detection and alarm systems design; and
- The airport’s fire alarm system.
o Advisory and consulting services:
- The successful applicant(s) shall provide the commission support for updates to the airport security plan. the successful 10 applicant(s) responsibilities will also include the support and creation of plans, designs, and other necessary documents required by the commission from time to time. general advisory and consulting services may be requested for similar services.
- For each project/task assigned, required services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Planning:
o Assisting the commission to comply with any federal, state, or local law or any regulation;
o The preparation of design studies, preliminary plans, economic comparisons, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for any proposed projects;
o The analysis of designs to create framework and detailed work programs;
o The collection of airport data and facilities inventories;
o The review of all building codes and applicable regulations, specifically for infrastructure planning;
o The planning, budgeting, and assistance with grant applications for airport improvement program or state department of aviation funded projects;
o Reviewing plans for proposed tenant facilities to analyze any impact on overall airport operations
o Project control and scheduling; and
o Preparing engineering reports for bond issues
